We are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead and mentor two small full-stack teams responsible for developing cloud-native web and mobile applications. Projects include building a portfolio management system with advanced analytics and visualization capabilities and a managed services platform for cloud infrastructure supporting developer platforms and clusters.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

• Manage, mentor, and grow two small teams of full-stack engineers.

• Foster a high-performing engineering culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.

• Set clear goals, deliver regular feedback, and support the career growth of team members.

Project Oversight

• Lead the development of a portfolio management solution centered on data analysis, database design, and visualization.

• Guide the creation of a managed services platform for cloud infrastructure and developer tooling.

Technical Execution

• Ensure delivery of scalable, secure, high-quality web and mobile applications.

• Champion modern engineering practices including microservices, serverless architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

Technology Stack & Best Practices

• Utilize technologies such as React (including React Native), Go, Python, and other cloud-native tools.

• Promote best practices in testing, code reviews, and secure software design.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.

• Proficient in full-stack web development, particularly with React and React Native.

• Strong backend development skills with Go and Python.

• Experience with scalable system design, microservices architecture, and serverless computing.

• Deep understanding of secure application development, including authentication and authorization best practices.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

• Familiarity with database design for analytics-driven applications.

• Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools or managed services platforms.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing, continuously learning engineering teams.
